Every Christmas, we would draw names to buy Christmas presents. One year, I drew my husband's Aunt Peg's name. She loved her clothes. In fact, she was a bit of a clothes horse. But she was finding it difficult to find contemporary trendy clothes that suited her needs.

I looked around the stores trying to find something but felt that there was a gap. Easy care clothing didn't need to look "easy care." It could look fresh, contemporary, and fun. Thus, colia & co. was born.
